SANTORINI is truly a magical island. Part of the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean Sea. Devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century that shaped its rugged landscape forever. The towns of Fira and Oia cling to the cliffs above an underwater CALDERA (crater). Beaches are made up of black, red and white lava sand and pebbles.
SANTORINIS architecture of white washed houses are in complete harmony to the volcanic scenery.
Among the narrow village paths you will find the iconic blue domed churches that match with sea and sky.
The island is also home to a small but flourishing wine industry, with many vineyards to visit for a tasting session and dinner. The vines are unique as grown in a basket shape to protect the fruits from the winds.

The famous SANTORINI sunset has the tourists surrounding the Caldera every evening and a massive applause is heard as the ball of fire disappears into the sea.
